Our volunteers donated over 33,000 hours of time working in the San Jose community during the past fiscal year – work that is valued at more than $1,050,00! Members give from their hearts and are paid with smiles and thanks of appreciation. So, THANK YOU for sorting and delivering thousands of school uniforms and other clothing to students; packing food, sorting clothing and assembling toiletry kits with CityTeam, reading to moms and babies and to 2nd and 3rd graders; donating books to schools and other local institutions; cooking dinners and cookies for Family Supportive Housing; checking the vision of preschool children; bringing joy to long-term senior residences; crocheting and knitting thousands of blankets for new babies; distributing teddy bears to children under stress; and so much more! You do make a difference!
