Our Screening Eyes Early program helps identify preschoolers with vision problems before there are issues with learning and play or before there is an issue that cannot easily be resolved. In 2022 – 2023 our volunteers visited 11 preschools, conducted 20 screening sessions, screened 373 preschoolers and identified 21 students for professional vision care.
Parents are often surprised that their children need glasses!
