In 1988, ALSJ members began furnishing bears to adults and children in crisis. This was our 3rd program and named Operation Hug. It is now named Hug-A-Bear! 600 bears furnished to adults and children in 2022-2023. In Oct. 2021, we entered an agreement with Silicon Valley Red Cross. In 2022-2023 we donated 100 bears to @redcrossnorcal for fire victims. Everyone needs a hug. Have you given yours today?
