Aila Malek, author of books for children, lawyer, non-profit executive and social justice champion, made her third appearance at Parisi House on the Hill. 👏⚖️

She read her book “Pocket Mommy” to the moms at Parisi House, staying to answer their questions. AL of San Jose gifted a copy of Aila’s book, “Pocket Mommy” to each mom, which Aila autographed for them at the end of her presentation. 📖🖋️

Aila is very popular with the mothers and staff. Her book resonates very well with the Parisi House mothers. It addresses the anxiety children experience when they are separated from their mothers for a period of time.

Aila not only reads and talks about the book📘, she also provides valuable information about the legal system⚖️ and how it operates when mothers abuse drugs/alcohol and put their children in harms way. She gives them information on how to appear before a judge and lets them know what their rights are. She is an excellent source of info for the mothers at Parisi House.🤱👩‍🍼
