Family Supportive Housing enjoyed their own laboratory experience at AL of San Jose’s recent quarterly Enrichment Program. Retired middle school science teachers from our chapter taught families about owls.🦉

After presentations about skeletons🦴and owls,🦉each child picked apart an owl pellet to see what the owl had eaten. They were excited to find many tiny mammal bones🐁. Any squeamish lab students🫢 soon became rapt🔍 and all of the parents joined in the fun.

Our next Enrichment Program will be presented by a member who is a Master Gardener. We’re looking forward to digging a vegetable garden🌻!
