This year, AL of San Jose Readers Are Leaders volunteers partnered with the Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Public Library to select books for the 2025-2026 school year. 📚📚

Every volunteer read every book and discussed each one to decide the final selection. A mix of biography🧑‍🦰🧑‍🦱, science and nature🌳🦆🐜🦓, human interest⛸️🛻🧑‍🦽‍➡️and just plain fun😂🎉 will provide the classes and readers a variety of books with lot to think and talk about.

For many of the volunteers, choosing the books is a highlight of the RAL program’s year.🤩
