This year, AL of San Jose’s Readers Are Leaders program has partnered with the San Jose Public Library system. 📚

Librarians from the King Library helped us choose 12 books to read to 2nd and 3rd graders in San Jose throughout the school year. 🏫And each month, the libraries near the schools where we read, display books that might appeal to students who liked the books read in their classroom.📖📖

Every student also received a bookmark with information about their own local library. 🔖 We hope they will visit, choose more books to read and become avid readers like the Readers Are Leaders volunteers.
