AL of San Jose provides free vision screening to the preschool children in need in our community. 🤓

Do you know why?
😲 only 40% under 5 years have had their vision screened 👀, while 1 in 20 preschool-aged children 👫🏻have a vision problem.🤨

😲 1 in 50 children have amblyopia (lazy eye) and if not treated at an early age, it can cause lifelong vision loss in the lazy eye. 👁️

😲 Vision problems in preschoolers often go unnoticed. Since a vision problem doesn’t hurt, a child won’t complain about not seeing clearly. 😩 Since a vision problem doesn’t hurt, a child won’t complain about not seeing clearly.
