Readers Are Leaders (RAL), a program committed to inspire love of reading began 17 years ago. RAL began with an idea
from AL of Los Gatos/Saratoga based on WALTR (We All Love to Read).

In 2023-2024, we gave 300 books to teachers
, 12,830 books to students
to take home and keep, 9,360 enrichment activities and 3500 books to students for summer
reading. We also gave 12 teachers $50 grants
!
