Assisteens of the Bay Area Provide Goody Bags to Bay Area Turning Point Residents

Before the week of holiday celebrations, Assisteens® of the Bay Area delivered 40 goody bags to Bay Area Turning Point.

Assisteens are partners with the shelter for two of their five independently-managed philanthropic programs.

Project FAMILY allows the Assisteens to spend time with children.  One hour is spent on tutoring and academics, and the second hour is devoted to celebratory events.  These activities occur on the first Saturday of each month.

Project Snuggle involves preparing fleece blankets and delivering them to the shelter.
