Assisteens of the Bay Area Report 5,261 Service Hours Across Programs and Chapter Support

For the 2022-2023 fiscal year, Assisteens® made a significant impact in the communities they serve.

Birthday-In-A-Box provided 300 birthday party kits, a small gift, and a card to at-risk students at League City and McWhirter Elementary Schools in Clear Creek ISD and K.E. Little and San Leon Elementary Schools in Dickinson ISD.

Cause for Paws assembled and delivered 350 pet adoption kits to League City Animal Care Shelter and Bay Area Pet Adoptions.

Notes for Folks created and delivered 324 cards to the Heartis Senior Living memory care unit.

Project Snuggle crafted 207 fleece blankets for Bay Area Turning Point and The Bridge Over Troubled Waters.

As a joint project with adult chapter members, the Snack Attack Pack initiative assembled 8,553 Snack Attack Packs for delivery to Deer Park ISD, La Porte ISD, and Texas City ISD.

Across the teen-managed philanthropies, the Resale Shop, chapter programs, and community-requested events, the auxiliary accrued 5,261 volunteer hours.
