Assisteens^® of the Bay Area believe companion animals in shelters, hoping for their very own families, should receive support through donations of food and supplies.

Through the auxiliary’s Cause for Paws philanthropic program, these donations make a difference in the League City Animal Care shelter’s inventory levels.

Another kindness shown to the dogs and cats in residence at the League City shelter and Bay Area Pet Adoptions in San Leon is assembling pet adoption kits delivered to these program partners throughout the school year.

These kits are given to the families when they select their new pets. The kits contain items to kickstart their new home experience.
