Assisteens^® volunteer to work on several philanthropies from September through April after a membership meeting ends.

A favorite is Birthday in a Box, where items are assembled to give an elementary student everything needed to celebrate a birthday. The ‘box’ includes supplies for cupcakes, a gift, and a handwritten card from the Assisteen wishing them the best on this special day.

Recipients are students in the Communities In Schools – Bay Area program at the League City Elementary and McWhirter Elementary campuses in Clear Creek ISD and the KE Little Elementary and San Leon Elementary campuses in Dickinson ISD.
