Assisteens of the Bay Area’s Open Enrollment
Available April 1 – May 31, 2025

The open enrollment period for the 2025-2026 Assisteens of the Bay Area is from April 1 – May 31, 2025.

Students entering 9th, 10th, or 11th grade for the 2025-2026 school year and living in the school districts supported through our philanthropic programs (Clear Creek ISD, Deer Park ISD, Dickinson ISD, Friendswood ISD, Galveston ISD, Hitchcock ISD, La Porte ISD, Pasadena ISD, Santa Fe ISD, and Texas City ISD) are eligible to join. Membership is equally open to students who attend a private school in these districts’ geographic boundaries and those who are home-schooled.

Individuals who are seniors for the upcoming 2025-2026 school year are not eligible to join as new members.

The process will be exclusively online.

Assisteens is a member-based, dues-paying organization. When joining, an Assisteen agrees to meet specific criteria to be eligible to rejoin the following years. Those criteria include attending at least five (5) membership meetings throughout the school year and earning fifteen (15) Assisteens-approved service hours, which include five (5) hours in one or more of the philanthropic programs and two hours (2) in resource development. Membership meetings are held on the fourth Sunday at 2:00 p.m. at a local church during the school year, except in November and May when they are moved to accommodate the Thanksgiving and Memorial Day holidays.

To complete the registration process, all new members must attend a new member orientation with a parent. Multiple orientations will be offered virtually beginning in May and continuing through July.
