This program is a collaborative effort with local hospitals offering comfort via teddy bears provided by Assistance League of Huntington Beach. Throughout the year these teddy bears are given to children and elderly individuals in our community in times of crisis. Our Operation Bear Hug Committee members delivered a total of 980 bears to Huntington Beach Hospital ER (The nurses there love our bears!), Fountain Valley Hospital ER, FV Hospital Pediatric ICU and Orange Coast Memorial Hospital ER
