Working together, making a difference!

Assistance League of the Columbia Pacific is a chapter of Assistance League, a national organization of over 22,000 members in 120 chapters throughout the United States.  We are an all-volunteer, 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to transforming lives and strengthening our local Clatsop and Pacific County communities. We were chartered in August of 2007 and became the 118th Assistance League Chapter in May of 2011. From the beginning our member volunteers have been committed to making a lasting difference in the lives of children in our community through their hands-on involvement in our innovative philanthropic programs.

Assistance League of the Columbia Pacific supports six community based philanthropic programs (link) benefiting children of all ages, from newborns thru 12th grade students. We encourage you to learn more about our chapter and the many ways you can become involved and make a difference.

Our funding sources come from the generous and kind hearts of our personal and business donors, foundation grants, annual Direct Mail campaign, and several fun Resource Development events that take place during the year.  We make great efforts to give back to businesses in our community by keeping our program purchases local.
