Knowledge is the key to success!
We believe that knowledge is the key to success in a young person’s life and that sometimes finding the funds to make education after high school possible can be a challenge for some young adults and their families. Operation Scholarships is a brand new philanthropic program for 2022 whose goal is to promote continuing education for students in Clatsop and Pacific counties by providing scholarships to graduating high school students. In the spring of 2022 we awarded $5000 in Scholarships to graduating high school students in our community.
High school students can apply annually for a scholarship to the junior college, trade school or specialty education training program of their choice.
It is our hope that this program will help ensure that we provide opportunities for young adults in our community to “Never Stop Learning”.
