Philanthropic Programs

Operation School Bell®

Students, grades Pre K – 12, receive new clothing, including socks and personal undergarments.  They also receive a shoe voucher to Payless and a personal hygiene kit.  Their smiles as they leave are as big as the bags they are carrying!

Operation Cinderella

Provides high school seniors in need with everything necessary, from formal dresses to tux rental gift certificates, for a positive prom experience.

Operation Support Our Schools

Provides a variety of support services to at-risk students on campuses served by Communities In Schools – Bay Area.

Assault Survivor Kits®

Provides clothing and hygiene kits for victims of domestic and sexual assaults whose clothing has been retained by law enforcement as evidence.

Ready for Work

Provides men and women identified by the United Way Financial Opportunity Center and The Bridge Over Troubled Waters with interview and job appropriate clothing.

Community Outreach

Provides opportunities to meet one-time or emergency needs in the service area.
