Patricia Delaney Horton Scholarship
The Patricia Delaney Horton Scholarship is awarded annually by Assistance League of Long Beach to one or more outstanding college students who demonstrate academic achievement, leadership, and financial need.
Established in honor of longtime Assistance League of Long Beach member Patricia “Pat” Horton, this scholarship reflects Pat and her husband Wes’ belief in the transformative power of higher education and in “paying it forward.” Pat was devoted to Assistance League’s mission of helping children and families in need, and her generous contribution to the organization’s endowment ensures that students who might not otherwise have access to higher education can continue pursuing their college dreams.
