Ortho patient treatment

Program History

Assistance League of Long Beach’s Orthodontic Program was founded in 1969. It is located in the new Earl B. and Loraine H. Miller Orthodontic Pavilion.  The program’s administration, orthodontist, staff, and Assistance League of Long Beach volunteers strive to provide comprehensive, quality orthodontic care in a personal and caring environment.  The staff appreciates the trust of their patients and looks forward to helping them develop great smiles that will last a lifetime.

Program Criteria

Children accepted into the program are Kindergarten through 12th grade and are from families with limited financial resources who live in Long Beach, Lakewood, or Signal Hill or who attend a Long Beach school. They are referred by school nurses, members of the local dental community, or family and friends of patients and volunteers.
