Joshua Schneider, D.D.S., M.S.: Dr. Schneider graduated from the UCLA School of Dentistry in 2006. Prior to dental school, he received his Bachelor’s Degree in Biology from University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) in 1998 and his Master’s Degree in Marine Science from University of California, Santa Barbara (UCSB) in 2001. After dental school, he completed a 27-month post-graduate orthodontics residency at Loma Linda University where he earned a Master’s Degree in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics. Before taking over the role as full time Orthodontist at Assistance League, Dr. Schneider treated patients at Western Dental in Fontana and at private practices in Ladera Ranch and Hawthorne. He is an active member of the American Board of Orthodontics and Pacific Coast Society of Orthodontics. He spends his weekends takings his kids to soccer games and other extracurricular activities.
Suzie (Registered Dental Assistant): Suzie has been with the orthodontic center since March 2012. She holds her Associate of Arts degree, and maintains her registered dental assistant/x-ray/coronal polish license. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her son and family.
Rachel (Registered Dental Assistant): Passion for orthodontics and creating a welcoming environment for every patient. She joined the office in August 2025 and brings over 12 years of experience to the team. When she’s not in the clinic, she enjoys spreading a little magic with her wife as professional mermaids.
Marisol is the Patient Recruitment and Marketing Coordinator and has been with the Assistance League of Long Beach for 11 years. She actively volunteers with several programs, including ALA Cart at the Children’s Hospital, and the 4th Friday thrift shop shifts. She is passionate about serving the community and supporting programs that make a positive and lasting impact.
Adli is the Front Desk Receptionist and has been working for the Assistance League of Long Beach Orthodontics Office for 2 years. She was also a patient over 10 years ago, so she understands the treatment process and the impact that the Orthodontic Program has in the community.
