Assistance League of Mid-Missouri is an all volunteer, 501(c)(3) nonprofit philanthropic organization that operates multiple programs to help children and adults in need in Columbia, Missouri.

We are a chapter of National Assistance League®, whose 23,000 members put caring and commitment into action through community-based philanthropic programs. Since 1992, Assistance League of Mid-Missouri has followed National Assistance League’s motto of “Transforming Lives • Strengthening Community.”

Every year we clothe more than 1,600 children with new school clothes; award funds to teachers for enrichment activities in their classrooms; grant scholarships to non-traditional students, veterans, and high school students who exemplify the value of volunteerism; provide more than 3,000 hygiene kits; and much, much more.

Upscale Resale is our main source of funding. The shop is staffed and managed entirely by our member volunteers. Donations are always welcome and are tax deductible. Other sources of revenue include Cookie Connection, which bakes and delivers cookies four times a year, and our Donor Letter/CoMoGives campaign.
