Outreach provides a flexible, rapid response strategy to meet specific community needs that do not fit within existing programs and that can be addressed on a one-time-only basis. The maximum request amount is $1,000 per fiscal year. Requests are considered from local school districts, social service agencies, or similar entities. During the 2020-21 fiscal year, $4,000 was provided to meet requests.

Items provided include:
• emergency clothing
• feminine hygiene products
• therapeutic services
• beds and linens
These items were given to veterans, victims of human trafficking, youth affected by trauma, mental health patients, and families affected by domestic violence.
