Providing Funds to Teachers
in Columbia Public Schools

Links to Learning provides funding for projects designed and implemented by Columbia Public School teachers in pre-K through high school. Annually, an allocation committee comprised of Assistance League of Mid-Missouri members reviews proposals in September and presents awards in October. Since 1992, more than $1.5 million has been given to enrich student learning experiences, improve students’ achievement, or foster interdisciplinary study. During the 2022-21 school year, no grants were awarded due to COVID-19 and the schools operating in a virtual format. However, $20,000 was provided to the Science Coordinator and the Authors in Schools Program. For the 2021-2022 school year, Links to Learning provided more than $106,000 to fund programs in Columbia Public Schools.
