Due to COVID-19, ALSJ volunteers can no longer enter the Stonebrook Health and Rehab Facility to conduct monthly Bingo games. This week our Stonebrook volunteers, including three new members, met in a park to put together 35 goody bags for the residents. Then three volunteers delivered them to the facility. We may not be able to see the joy on the residents’ faces when they win Bingo prizes, but we know that receiving the bags full of handmade lap blankets (by Caring Hands), ALSJ Hug-a-Bears, and puzzle books with pencils will put smiles on their faces!
