Collecting NOW for

Action Week Feb 23rd-Mar 1st

Want to help? Assistance League of Whittier is collecting books for infants, crawlers and toddlers!!  These little ones are in the Infant Development Center program at Whittier Union School District.  This program is designed to support teen parents by providing their children with free, high quality, developmental childcare. But teen parents need books to read to their child. Drop off books for infants, crawlers and toddlers at Assistance League of Whittier Bargain Bin Thrift Store from 10 am to 4 pm Tuesday thru Friday.  On Saturday 10 am to 1:00 pm.

Also, we are collecting bestsellers paperback and magazines for young adolescence inpatients at Metropolitan State Hospitals in Norwalk, Ca.  They really like magazines!

Best place to get books is at Friends of the Library.
