Grants from Corporations and Foundations
Assistance League of Whittier’s Grants Committee writes proposals to support our philanthropic programs. Grants are especially helpful during this time of great need throughout our community.
Thrift Shop Donations
Proceeds from our Thrift Shop help fund our philanthropic programs. Bring your donations of new or gently-used items to our Thrift Shop at 6339 Greenleaf Ave. Whittier, CA 90601. The shop is located on the alley. Stay to shop. We offer quality merchandise at affordable prices.
Operation School Bell® Fundraiser
Operation School Bell is our chapter’s largest philanthropic program. This program provides clothing to children (K-9) in need throughout Greater Whittier Area. Please donate.
Philanthropic Endowment Fund
Help create a lasting legacy! A permanent philanthropic endowment fund has been established for Assistance League of Whittier’s philanthropic programs. Tax-deductible gifts can be made in honor of someone, called a “Named” Endowment. Contributions to these fund ensure that our philanthropic programs will continue into the future, helping those in our community who are less fortunate.
