Area college students who received Assistance League scholarships this past school year were special guests at a recent chapter meeting. The students shared their personal stories of their challenges as well as their plans after completing their education. They also expressed their gratitude to Assistance League members for helping them achieve their dreams. Since 2003, over $1.1 million in scholarships have been awarded to deserving students who are active in community service while pursuing post-secondary education at seven Georgia institutions.
