Assistance League members hosted their 8th annual golf tournament at Bear’s Best Golf Course in Suwanee on Monday, October 6, 2025.   Fifty two first responders  enjoyed a free round of golf.  Over one hundred paid golfers also participated.  Approximately $95,000 was raised to help fund our community programs.

Since 1988 Assistance League has provided stuffed teddy bears to comfort frightened children during crisis situations. Hospitals and other agencies distribute the bears to children in need of comfort during traumatic and stressful circumstances.  This year we provided 4,050 bears.  

For the ninth consecutive year Assistance League of Atlanta is participating in Atlanta Botanical Garden’s ‘Scarecrows in the Garden’ annual event.
