OWL Classroom Instruction & Forms

Aloha, Teachers!

In response to comments in teacher evaluation sheets last school year, we are revamping how
we do our Teacher Packets this year. All teacher materials for the OWL Program are now
housed here in this website ready to download for you to use.
The content is divided into four parts:

Part 1 – Introduction to Operation Wildlife
Part 2 – Post-presentation Worksheets
Part 3 – Reports to Return to Assistance League of Hawaii
Part 4 – Optional Worksheets

Supplemental – OWL Goal Setting Worksheet

The materials in Part 1 should be used prior to the OWL Team’s arrival for the presentation.

Part 2 has exercises you can use with the children after they have had the presentation to help reinforce the learning.

Part 3 includes your evaluation of the program as well as the Tally Form providing data as to
students’ completion of their goals. We ask that you complete both forms online and return via
the website within 4 weeks after the presentation.

Part 4 contains optional additional worksheets and activities relevant to the OWL curriculum.

MAHALO FOR YOUR PARTICIPATION! WE APPRECIATE THE INVITATION TO VISIT YOUR SCHOOL AND HOPE YOU AND YOUR STUDENTS FIND THIS MINI-UNIT TO BE A VALUABLE LEARNING RESOURCE!

Aloha, folks!
Thank you to all of you for already hosting our OWL Team on a visit to your school, and having us present about HIPPO to your students.  I know that a number of you are now ready to do the evaluation and submit the goal data, but as some of you have found, we have a glitch in our system that is taking a bit of time to resolve.
As an alternative, you can use these links to fill out and submit your evals and data:
Mahalo to those of you who alerted us to the glitch!  Once we have resolved the issue, we will get back to you so you can go directly into the OWL Classroom and do these two forms directly.
As we have said, our program is being more closely scrutinized for effectiveness in terms of impact on children and classrooms, so your feedback and input are extremely important to us.  Please, we ask that you try to do these pages before too much time passes by and the children (and the teachers!) start to forget the details of what took place and what they did.
We stand ready to collect the data you submit, and will send you back enough “I Did It!” stickers for the number of children who said they did!
Thank you for your follow-through, and for helping us to continue to keep the OWL program alive and well!  You are greatly appreciated!
