Soc It to Hunger

Feeding Hope, One Family at a Time

In the heart of Santa Ana, we’re tackling one of our most pressing challenges, food insecurity. Soc it to Hunger is more than a program—it’s a promise to nourish our community’s future.

The Challenge of Food Insecurity

  • Addressing the Hidden Hunger: In Santa Ana, unseen hunger touches too many lives. Soc It to Hunger responds with vital aid for families grappling with food insecurity.

Emergency Food Pantry

  • Consistent Care for Families: Our pantry opens monthly, reaching 40 families with a selection of staples and fresh produce, ensuring that the most vulnerable among us have reliable access to nutritious food.

Open Air Food Distribution Events

  • Extended Support When Schools Close: During school breaks, our open-air food events at Madison Elementary become a beacon of hope, serving approximately 125 families with wholesome food in their times of need.

Collaboration and Community Support

  • Together We’re Stronger: Our bond with the Santa Ana Unified School District is a testament to the power of partnership. By pooling our resources, we amplify our impact, ensuring no child or family goes without.

How You Can Help

  • Join the Cause: Your support is critical. Whether it’s through donations, volunteering at our food events, or spreading the word, you help sustain our mission and serve our community.
