On, Monday, December 11, 2017, Assistance League of Victor Valley members gathered to celebrate the Christmas Holidays. A luncheon was held at the Spring Valley Lake Country Club. Our hospitality team under the leadership of Betty Deutschmann decorated the room with Christmas colors, flowers and Christmas Teddy Bears. They coordinated the meal which was very tasty and the service excellent. Linda Elliott, President open the event with a welcome and toast to the Holidays. We were entertained by a quartet, ” High Country Harmonaires” singing Christmas Carols and all the guests were quietly singing along with them. At the end of the meal, Cheryl Eaton,the birthday girl of the day was serenaded and she had to blow out a candle on a birthday cupcake.
The best of the afternoon was the conversations and laughter. A great Afternoon!!!
