Session #3 - Kristi Saucerman, Rethinking the way we Fundraise
We’re seeing it everywhere:
- Donors want experiences, not obligations.
- Businesses want partnerships, not just tables.
- Younger generations want to feel the impact, not just write a check.
Yet many of us are still pouring hundreds of hours — and thousands of dollars — into one night, crossing our fingers it works. And if it doesn’t?
We walk away exhausted, financially stretched, and already dreading how we’ll top it next year.
It’s time to rethink the gala not as the centerpiece of our fundraising, but as one part of a much bigger, more sustainable strategy.
