It was a fun filled afternoon for English tea and lunch at the Vintage Cave, Ala Moana Center on June 12. More than thirty Assistance League of Hawaii volunteers showed up to build their friendship, engage in a hat-making activity, taking photos and sampling a “proper” English tea. Some of us may be invited to Buckingham Palace someday, so this was good practice even if forks went flying and decorum was out of the door.

We thank Hospitality Chair Myrtle Ching-Rappa and her committee for organizing and running this successful event. “A good time was had by all!”

MARCH 2019: We Make a Difference Because We Care: Malama Bears were recently dropped off at various hospitals, health institutions and the Honolulu Fire Department. Member volunteer Pat Dixon is shown with the firemen at the Kaka’ako Fire Station.
