Diaper Bag Drive

New Futures’ mothers are working on graduating from high school while managing their child’s care.  It is an extension of KRQE Cares Shoes for Kids, where we will do a virtual distribution.  Michelle Martinez, the principal, indicated that her students were challenged to afford all of the necessary items it takes to care for their child.  Diaper bags are expensive and essential to manage books, babies, and all the accouterments.  ALA and KRQE support this effort to lift a few of the burdens that these young mothers face.
