Blue Portal Hours

We are in the process of inventory reconciliation, deep cleaning, refining of guidelines, returning inventory and getting new inventory and training!!! As such, March will be our first fully open month.

Blue Portal will not accept any new artist applications prior to March 15. See the New Artist section below for more information. Old Town is quite slow in these opening months, so it gives us the opportunity to make very good use of the time taking care of fundamentals.

Blue Portal is one of nine philanthropic programs of Assistance League of Albuquerque. The Blue Portal committee works directly with our senior New Mexico artists and crafters by providing them with a perfect location to sell their creations to the public. The service is free to over 450 artists and crafters, and they receive 100% of the asking price for each piece sold.

We provide both the building and the staff, who are all volunteer members of Assistance League of Albuquerque. Besides the seniors, others who gain from this program are the customers, both locals and tourists, who browse our shop and purchase the affordably priced gifts. They receive a great value at a great price.
