Blue Portal will start accepting applications for new artists April 1, 2025.
Thank you for your interest in this long standing Seniors Philanthropic Program.

Specific New Artist Intake Dates Announced

All Wednesdays; 21 May, 28 May, 11 June, 18 June

Artists must apply via this instruction sheet.

There will be 2 appointments a day: one at 10 and one at 10:45
This way the shop is not hindered by the initial appointment process for new artist.

Once we receive your request detailed in the instruction sheet, you will receive a response about the potential of making an appointment.

BLUE PORTAL GIFT SHOP

Blue Portal is one of nine philanthropic programs of Assistance League of Albuquerque. The Blue Portal committee works directly with our senior New Mexico artists and crafters by providing them with a perfect location to sell their creations to the public. The service is free to over 450 artists and crafters, and they receive 100% of the asking price for each piece sold.

We provide both the building and the staff, who are all volunteer members of Assistance League of Albuquerque. Besides the seniors, others who gain from this program are the customers, both locals and tourists, who browse our shop and purchase the affordably priced gifts. They receive a great value at a great price.
