Operation School Bell

Operation School Bell^® is dedicated to providing new school uniforms to underserved students in the Long Beach Unified School District (LBUSD). This vital program serves as the “safety net” enabling schools to mandate uniforms, thus fostering a cohesive and supportive learning environment. Annually, Operation School Bell delivers approximately 12,000 backpacks filled with new uniforms, undergarments, and school supplies to Long Beach students.

Orthodontic Program

The Orthodontic Program provides low-cost orthodontic treatment for children from families with limited financial resources.  The Orthodontic Center’s administration, orthodontist, staff and Assistance League volunteers strive to provide comprehensive, quality orthodontic care in a personal and caring environment.  The staff looks forward to helping their patients develop great smiles that will last a lifetime!

Mentoring

For over 30 years, CAMEO has supported underserved, academically promising students from the Long Beach Unified School District high schools and Long Beach City College.  Our member volunteers are working professionals who provide one-on-one mentoring support to enhance each student’s educational and personal development.
