Assistance League of Long Beach is a unique nonprofit organization comprised of member volunteers who bring their talents and abilities together to fulfill the mission of helping children and adults in need in the Long Beach community.

Membership is open to those who have the time and passion to volunteer.  Our programs are responsive to the needs of our community and provide many opportunities to serve.

Join over 850 women who volunteer with Assistance League of Long Beach.  Join chapter or one of our four auxiliaries:  Las Hermanas, Rick Rackers, CAMEO or Assisteens®.  Choose from the philanthropic programs and committees that interest you and would benefit from your special skills.  Make a difference in your community by sharing your enthusiasm and extending a helping hand while making friendships that will last a lifetime.

CHAPTER MEMBER RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Participate in a philanthropic program and a committee
  • Work at the Thrift & Vintage Shop once a month
  • Support an annual fundraising event
  • Attend monthly meetings (except December, July, August)
  • Pay annual dues of $100

APPLICATION TO JOIN CHAPTER

Applications are accepted January-October.

Training begins in June.
